Samantha Cave

In 2005 I moved from the Midlands to Berkshire with my husband and two sons and in 2019 we came to Wiltshire. Since 1986, when I was baptised and confirmed into the Catholic faith, church has been an important part of my life and in 2015 I was officially received into the Church of England by the Bishop of Reading. I am blessed to live in the beautiful village of Shalbourne where I have worshipped since moving here. In 2009 I became voluntary branch administrator for West Berkshire Cruse Bereavement Care where I also qualified as a bereavement support worker then in 2014 I was fortunate enough to secure the role of Weddings Coordinator for the Benefice in which I lived. I was passionate about my role within the church community and have very much missed it since moving away.
I am thrilled and honoured to be in a position to be able to support the Savernake team of clergy & laity and am very much looking forward to meeting lots of people in and around the Benefice, whether through worship, general enquiries or arranging a life event with you.
