Pastoral Care

Very few human lives are spared times of pain or anxiety. Bereavement, redundancy, broken relationships, illness or the demands of caring for someone else are frequent causes of stress and strain.

If, for whatever reason, you are going through a difficult period, your local Savernake Team clergy, supported by a network of trained Lay Pastoral Assistants, are available for you.

They offer to listen in privacy and confidence, and to give you their prayerful support and understanding.

In some cases of particular need, they may suggest contacting specialist advisers, counsellors or providers of care.

If you need the care outlined above, contact your local Team Vicar in the first instance for a confidential meeting. His or her contact details are in the About Us area of this website.

Depending on your needs, here are some websites which may also be helpful to you.
