Savernake Team Walk at Wilton on 7th September
This year's Savernake Team Walk, Open Air Service and Picnic will be on Sunday 7th September 2008.
We gather by 10 a.m. at Manor Farm, Wilton (car parking by kind permission of Mr Peter Lemon) to walk in company via Wilton Water, the canal towpath, Wilton and Bedywn Brails to Wilton Windmill, arriving about 11.30 a.m. Here there will be a short Open Air Service, followed by a shared picnic (please bring along a contribution)! Stay on for the afternoon! Wilton Windmill will be open from 2.00 to 5.00 p.m. for guided tours. There is a tea shop selling ices, souvenirs and traditionally ground flour.

Concerts at Tidcombe: Second Season: 2008 - 09
Details of the second season of Sunday concerts at the lovely Church of St Michael's, Tidcombe, in the centre of the Savernake Team have just been anounced!
All concerts begin at 5.30 p.m. and are followed by drinks at The Manor or in the barn.
Tickets £10. Numbers limited to 70 at each concert.

14th September 2008: Elizabeth Anderson (cello) plays works by Bach and Hindermith
19th October 2008: Superstrings, directed by Elizabeth Anderson (children admitted free on this occasion)
23rd November 2008: Siglo de Oro, directed by Patrick Allies, sing Renaissance Choral Music for a Chapel Royal
1st February 2009: Rachel Brown, flute and Adrian Butterfield, violin, play works by J.S Bach, Debussey and C.P.E. Bach
