General Information

In addition to the annual cycle of services, the church provides Tidcombe and its surrounding communities with a place for baptisms, marriages, funerals and burials. The church has regular and dedicated worshippers throughout the year and it is filled to capacity for the Christingle service which is very popular with young local families.

Additionally, recognising the vital role St Michael’s can play in the community’s secular life, the church runs a series of sacred and secular instrumental and choral concerts as well as poetry readings and lectures during the winter. These are tremendously well supported drawing diverse audiences often exceeding 150 from near and far, testimony to how well the church is valued as a venue and cultural centre as well as a place of worship.
