All Saints Church, Burbage
Christmas Tree Sale Weekend
During the weekend of the 9th and 10th December, the annual Burbage Christmas tree sale, and market, was held on the Church Green, and at the Church Centre. Apart from the various varieties of Christmas trees available, the Church Centre had a large selection of festive table decorations, cards, and other handmade crafts etc. A warming cup of tea or coffee was also available to all visitors free of charge throughout the day, with a small charge being made for hotdogs etc.
The proceeds of this festive fundraising event amounted to over £4250 which as usual, will be used for the church maintenance fund. A very big "Thank-You" to all those that planned and organised the weekend, and to those that helped out with the various jobs and necessary tasks, over the two days.
